An Order Feature and An Order Update
September 24, 2015Hey all!
Check out the table below that Tyler just finished!
This table is made from Oak planks. It has, what we call, a Breadboard top AKA instead of having the boards run straight from end to end, we cap each end with a 4″ board. The legs are more petite, at 2.5″ x 2.5″, and are clean-cut and not as rustic. This table is finished with Antique Flat which is more of a matte finish.
Now for a flooring update! Remember the blog post from that week that outlined how we make flooring? If not, you can read about it here. Well…
The Weatherboard is being delivered by our friend Nelson R Sensing Trucking to it’s new home on Long Island.
Weatherboard seems to be the favorite floor of the season. We just received a rush 2,000 sq ft order from our friend Todd Auker Construction that we need to crank out in just a few short weeks!
Welcome!

Making Flooring, It’s What We Do
September 17, 2015We are almost 3/4 done with a 4,200 square foot Touch Planed Weatherboard that is being delivered to Long Island, NY next Wednesday. The order is for 8″ and over and we have boards that are 17″ mixed in! These pictures are to show the process that the wood is going through. Check it out!

Statement Table!
September 10, 2015If you’re looking for a table that will make a statement, this is it.
We were privileged to make this for local customers who are friends of our office manager. They came to us looking for a picnic table for under their covered porch. They saw these 3″, super rustic, Oak Barn Floor Planks and fell in love. To keep it as rustic as possible, as well as to keep a gap in between the boards for expanding and contracting, we left the original grooves (for a tongue to fit into) on all 3 planks and simply butted them up against each other. In keeping with the rustic look, the planks and base of the table were then finished with 3 coats of Boiled Linseed Oil.
The customers added an awesome eclectic mix of reclaimed chairs. Doesn’t it look great?!?
New Customer Feature!
September 3, 2015September News & Sales!
September 1, 2015New Gorgeous Table!
August 25, 2015Weighing in at around 400 lbs, this massive 40″ x 108″ table made from 3″ thick White Oak barn planks is one-of-a-kind. The customer supplied the 10″ x 10″ green column style legs, which are removable, that we simply cut to length and lightly sanded. The 1″ boarder was added to conceal the board that the removable legs are attached to, but ends up making the table look more formal and grand. The table was then given 3 coats of Antique Flat Polyurethane (made by Zar).
Let your imagination run wild; what can we build for you?!
